Investors are not much concerned about CGT now but the WHT increase seems to be the trouble maker as WHT is doubled and WHT is imposed on new FBR valueations which are much higher than DC rates.
Now the market will be very slow and investor will focus on the below
- Investors will mostly invest in smaller plots where price is less than 4 Million (FBR value) to save Advance Tax/Withholding tax.
- Biana and short term trader will shift to smaller plots ( where value is less than 4 million) to reduce transfer expenses and take full advantage of the 4 million limit.
So the focus will be on smaller plots in my opinion.
